So the whole family is at my sisters for Thanksgiving. She was not feeling well and I rested all week before leaving so I would have energy to help her out. Why cause she had her 4, my 4, her in laws and my dad there...she would need all the help she could get. So we arrive Wednesday night and eat a great dinner, an old family recipe for spaghetti. After dinner Dad was going to take Seth to pick out his Birthday present. Cindy and I decide to go with them and pick up a few items for Thursday....Then the fun begun! I twist my ankle and fall walking out the door. I have had balance issue since I was diagnosed with hPT. The pain was unlike anything before...and I have broken both my feet in the last four years. So they are trying to get me into the car to go to the ER. The next thing I know I am coming to...I have passed out and vomited everywhere. This is a big problem because now my calcium will go low and I am away from my regular doctors (this always scares me). As I come around they have called an ambulance, real embarrassing! Needless to say I come home from the ER with a splinted foot, pain medication, and no crutches!!! Really, the hospital in this town doesn't stock crutches! Thankfully the store down the road does. SO my poor sister that is sick has to do Thanksgiving with out my help! I HATE this disease!!!!
